Seeking a full-time, self-motivated candidate to manage our computer network environment including installing, updating, maintaining, administering, and troubleshooting various operating systems on various platforms; assist in maintaining the integrity of network structures and support routines; provide systems administration services, modify procedures to solve complex problems using available resources. Provide front line help desk support to company end users. Strong problem solving, writing and communication skills with willingness to collaborate with others. Experience administering ERP/MRP software is required. Experience in a manufacturing environment is a strong plus. This is an on-site full-time position, and not eligible for remote working.

• 3 years of System Administration experience.
• Experience administering and maintaining an ERP / MRP system in a manufacturing environment.
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent discipline.
• VMware Virtualization and Administration.
• Fundamentals of Windows operating system platforms (Servers and Workstations) some Linux.
• MSCE/MSCA Certification preferred.
• Google Workspace Administration including Google Workspace Sync preferred.

• Maintain Active Directory, Group Policy, TCP/IP device settings, DHCP and DNS.
• Manage multi factor authentication practices; server folder shares, security settings and drive usage/folder sizes; monitor and maintain syslog logs and respond to event status.
• Maintain local & remote firewalls including firmware updates, SSL VPN 2FA, website exclusions.
• Review all systems IT support contracts and upcoming software license renewals in conjunction with IT consulting firm; including maintenance of hardware, software, network devices.
• Knowledge of PC hardware, printers, scanners, copiers, bar code readers and peripherals; Troubleshoot, configure and replace/place into service all new hardware computer equipment.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications (Microsoft Server 2008, 2012, 2016) (Microsoft Windows 10, Sentinel One, Google Gmail Web interface and 2FA and Microsoft Office 365).
• Software experience preferred in Global Shop Solutions, SAP Crystal Business Intelligence (Crystal Reports) along with Bartender Label Creator (bar-coded labels).
• Maintain and test weekly all Shop Floor workstations for response time and error conditions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve in conjunction with IT consulting firm all internal LAN, WAN and VPN connectivity issues. Identify needs and suggest resolutions to executive management.
• Coordinate with IT consulting firm on maintenance and functionality of hardware and software for backups, internal networking, computer email security and spam filtering.
• Manage daily duplication of backups, monitor logs, execute restores when necessary. 
• Build and place into service all new computer workstations and hardware to users.
• Provide desktop support and training as necessary for all staff.
• Patch Management - Utilize Action1 application software to review and release critical system updates to workstations and servers, verify new updates have been installed. 
• Maintain computer equipment lists with specifications and inventory software installed.
• Maintain IT documentation and support material. Create new support documentation.
• Communicate effectively with all end users in the organization.
• Manage printer toner replacement inventory and usage records.
• Maintain expert-level knowledge of all aspects of the ERP System.
• Monitor the integrity of the database through data auditing.
• Design and populate custom reports as needed (Crystal, Power BI).
• Provide initial and continuous ERP training and act as a knowledge base for all users.
